In a move which could suddenly create a quarterback problem for the San Francisco 49ers, QB Alex Smith and the Miami Dolphins are reportedly in contract talks. Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the two sides are in talks which could land Smith in Miami next season. Klis reports that the deal is worth in the neighborhood of $8 million dollars per season, the same as the deal reported that the 49ers offered Smith prior to the start of free agency.
